Firefighter and Firefighter/EMT members protect lives and property by performing tasks such as firefighting, emergency medical care, fire prevention, community service and education. The station staffs an Engine and Rescue, as well as wildland capable units.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND APPLICATION PROCESS
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

Must be 18 years of age for regular membership
-
Applicants can begin their membership at 16 years of age with proper working papers
-
Possess or be able to obtain a PA Drivers License and maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance to the Township of Harrison Driving Records Policy

Must be able to pass a criminal history background check and Child Abuse Clearance History Check
