Township of Harrison
Harrison Hills Fire Company 169 is part of Harrison Township and its two other departments, stations 167 and 168. The department is within the Allegheny County Emergency Services System that provides dispatching to the township, Hazardous Materials Specialized teams, incident command assistance and emergency management for Allegheny County as a whole. Harrison Township is approximately 8 square miles with a population of 10,300 which can swell to 15,000 during work day hours. The three departments within Harrison Township consists of 3 Engine companies, 1 Truck company, and 2 Rescue companies, as well as Emergency Management, Community Risk Reduction, and Fire Safety Education. The department provides mutual aid to Armstrong County, Westmoreland county, and Butler county as well as Fawn Township, Brackenridge and Tarentum Boroughs, and Allegheny Technologies Inc. (ATI) Flat Rolled Steel Fire Department.
Fire Protection Classification
The Township of Harrison has achieved a Class 3 Rating from the Insurance Services Office (ISO). This classification is important to property owners within the township who may see a reduction in insurance premiums.

Fire Station 169
Opened in 1970, station 169 is located at the entrance of Harrison Hills County Park. The station houses an Engine, Rescue, the Brush Fire Response team, and the chief. The first due response area includes Harrison Hills Park, two industrial parks, Highlands Mall, and a variety of residential areas. The stations address is 5300 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065.
