Other Types of Membership
AUXILIARY MEMBER:
Auxiliary Members are pre-certified firefighters/EMTs who do not have to meet requirements of the company. In order to qualify for this position, you MUST have the following certifications:
- Firefighter I Pro-board
- CPR/First Aid, EMR, EMT, EMT-A, Paramedic (Must have one current)
- ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
- Basic Vehicle Rescue with Health Department Certification
All application requirements of regular membership apply as well. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal history check and child abuse clearances.
DRIVER ONLY MEMBER:
Driver Only Members are strictly apparatus operators who do not have to meet requirements of the company. In order to qualify for this position, you MUST have the following certifications:
- Emergency Vehicle Drivers Training (EVDT)
- Pump Operations I (Pump II preferred, but not mandatory)
- ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
- CPR/First Aid, EMR, EMT, EMT-A, Paramedic (Must have one current)
- Driver/Pumper Pro-Board Certification (Preferred but not mandatory)
SOCIAL MEMBER:
Social Members are the core of the company, supporting day to day operations and performing fundraising duties and assistance around the fire station. This is a NON firefighting membership.
